On Tuesday (8 August) saw 14 teams compete under the Karingal Bowls Club’s SkyDome for the 2023 SIS Lawn Bowls Championship.
There was healthy blend of experienced and novice bowlers who participated in the event.
After 6 preliminary rounds, the final came down to St. Margaret’s Berwick Grammar 1 & St. Peter’s Cranbourne 4. In a tense battle SMBG prevailed to take home the title and trophy.
It was great to see so many students gain experience and an appreciation for Lawn Bowls.
