Planning is well under way for the 2024 concert to be held at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong.
Dates will be as follows:
Rehearsal 1: Thursday 29th February
Rehearsal 2: Wednesday 13th March
Rehearsal 3: Tuesday 19th March
CONCERT: Tuesday 19th March-7.30pm
'The BIG Night' is an annual music and dance concert held at The Drum Theatre in Dandenong. All SIS member schools are invited to participate in the Concert as Principals, Families and the wider community enjoy a variety of combined SIS Ensembles and Individual School Performances. Approximately 350 nominated students from the member schools perform a program showcasing combined SIS Concert Bands, Choir and Guitar/Ukelele Ensembles. Additionally dance routines are included such as Contemporary, Showdance, Commercial Jazz and Hip Hop. Rehearsal 1 : Thursday 9 March 2023 Rehearsal 2: Wednesday 22 March 2023 Rehearsal 3: Tuesday 28 March 2023 SIS Big Night Music and Dance Review will be held on Tuesday, 28 March 2023 Students and teachers from member schools will join together to perform a number of ensemble pieces as well as some impressive performances from individual schools. Students and teachers will gather for only 2 rehearsal days to bring together the acts. The hard work and dedication of students and teachers is evidenced in the quality of the performances.
